Un film en neuf chapitres présentés dans un ordre aléatoire, basés sur des fragments de La Catacombe de Molussie, roman allemand écrit entre 1932 et 1936 par Günther Stern dit Günther Anders (« Autrement » en allemand). Des prisonniers d’une geôle d’un État fasciste imaginaire, la Molussie, se transmettent des histoires à propos du dehors, comme autant de fables à portée philosophique.

A film in nine chapters, shown in random order and based on fragmentsfrom the novel Günther Stern known as Günther Anders (German for “Differently”) wrote between 1932 and 1936: The Molussian Catacomb. Prisoners sitting in the pits of an imaginary fascist state, Molussia, transmit one another stories about the outside world like a series of philosophical fables.
