It is a film with an open perspective, as it problematises and sets competing narratives against one another. It presents itself as an investigation aimed at shedding light on the mystery of Herman’s disappearance, through interviews with a wide range of political and ideological figures. Neither under the dictatorship nor under democracy has justice managed to identify those responsible: this is precisely Echeverría’s objective – to bring this disappearance to light.
