Melrick a 13 ans. Il passe ses vacances d’été chez sa grand-mère Nicole à Cayenne et apprend à jouer du tambour. Mais sa présence fait soudain resurgir le spectre de son oncle, ancien tambouyé tué dans des conditions tragiques. Confronté au deuil qui hante toute la communauté, Melrick cherche sa propre voie vers le pardon.
Melrick is 13 years old. He spends his summer holidays at his grandmother Nicole’s home in Cayenne, learning to play the drum. But his presence suddenly brings back the ghost of his uncle, a former tambouyé who was killed under tragic circumstances. Confronted with the grief that haunts the entire community, Melrick searches for his own path to forgiveness.
