Synopsis

On est en Ardèche, c’est le printemps, et les oiseaux ne sont pas encore revenus. Une enquêtrice quitte sa maison pour se lancer à leur recherche. Elle rencontre une professeure de mathématiques à la retraite, une faiseuse de nids, et un petit groupe d’ornithologues sur un col.

It’s spring in the Ardèche, and the birds haven’t returned yet. An investigator leaves her home to set out in search of them. She meets a retired maths teacher, a nest-maker and a small group of birdwatchers on a mountain pass.
